Product Description
Multi-axial Radius Medial Locking Plate is an Orthopedic Implant used for the treatment of distal radius fracture surgery.
Surgical indications for plate internal fixation of distal radius fractures
1. Closed reset failed
2. Unstable fractures with palmar displacement, such as Smith's or Barton's fractures (B3 type)
3. Open fractures that require direct visual reduction
4. Patients with carpal tunnel syndrome
5. Old fractures or malunion
Should palmar or dorsal steel plates be used for internal fixation of distal radius fractures?
1. The mechanism of fracture injury is the direction of displacement.
If palmar displacement occurs, use a palmar steel plate.
